Congrats!

If you’ve come this far, you’ve made it beyond my photos which means: you’ve made it beyond the obvious, beyond the beauty of the photographs, beyond what pleases the eye. You’ve reached a section where you’ll find my soul, thoughts, & what lies underneath my image and sets my heart on fire.

You are looking at a biological woman, modelling as a man. Why? Because gender is a construct. Early in life, I was super interested in gender roles and how society has always divided humans into two versions, overlooking what’s really important: To be truly human.

We are confronted by the limits of one’s gender every single day; whether it’s the pink & blue discussion, job descriptions, fashion, or something as banal as driving a car. We are all constantly and most of the time unconsciously acting according to some gender limiting rules and societal expectations – so much that at some point we limit ourselves, what we could become, and forget what is truly important in life.
This is why I decided to use the fascinating art of drag to raise awareness of these gender issues, to fight for what I believe in, and to help making a difference. I started out as someone who imitated the male image, soon became a well-known drag king within Austria and now beyond the boarders, and am now taking on the next chapter of this gender bending expression: stirring up the fashion industry by simply being a woman who embraces the role of a male model, redefining beauty and blurring the lines of convention.
